Senior Software Engineer
Do you want to develop solutions that sit at the heart of our customers' operations while helping shape the next generation of IMI's products?
At IMI, we develop business-critical software for logistics-intensive organizations where large volumes of data, complex workflows, and high availability requirements are part of everyday operations. Our solutions are used to automate business processes, optimize warehouse and logistics flows, and provide reliable information that helps customers make informed decisions.
We are currently modernizing both our products and the way we develop software. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer who wants to play an active role in developing, improving, and modernizing solutions that are central to our customers' day-to-day operations.
We are looking for someone who enjoys combining technical depth with a broader perspective. You are motivated by solving complex problems, working across both frontend and backend development, and contributing to solutions that are built to evolve, scale, and create value for years to come.

You will work across the full development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. The role involves close collaboration with other developers, architects, testers, UX designers, and product professionals, where you contribute both technical expertise and a broader perspective on the solutions we build.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain and evolve software solutions that support critical business processes
Work across both backend and frontend
Contribute to technical decisions, solution design, and architectural discussions
Ensure high quality through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous improvement
Troubleshoot and solve complex problems in business-critical systems
Contribute to secure, maintainable, and scalable software solutions
Share knowledge, support colleagues, and help strengthen engineering practices within the team
Explore how AI-assisted tools and emerging technologies can create value in the development process
Your profile
We believe you are an experienced developer who enjoys combining technical depth with an interest in business processes and user needs. You have built and evolved software over time and understand the importance of balancing quality, maintainability, and business value. You enjoy solving complex problems, collaborating with others, and contributing to both products and ways of working.
We Believe You Have:
Several years of professional software development experience
Strong experience with .NET and C#
Experience working with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
Good understanding of software architecture, integrations, databases, and system design
Experience with code reviews, automated testing, and modern development practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
A desire to share knowledge and contribute to the growth of both colleagues and teams
Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English
